Rascal Flatts由来自哥伦布的Gary Levox、Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney三名成员组成，是一个乡村音乐风格的乐队,他们以演唱和谐而闻名。

他们是美国乡村音乐的新生力量：由Gary Lerox、Jay Demarcus、Joe Don Roonery组成的Rascal Flatts（流氓弗拉德）乐队。这支乐队从2000年至2004年短短四年的时间，发行了三张专辑，（分别为同名专辑《Rascal Flatts》（流氓弗拉德）、《Melt》（融化）、《Fells Like Today》（像今天的感觉））几次赢得乡村音乐大奖，还多次在美国公告牌杂志上成为热门人物，更成为美国各大媒体的焦点。

在他们出道早期，传统乡村音乐人批评这个三人组合，称他的音乐太稚嫩并带有流行乐的影子。Jay DeMarcus说：“他们认为我们就像是乡村音乐界中的‘后街男孩’或者是N Sync” 。然而乐迷和乡村电台却非常支持他们，2000年Rascal Flatts的首张专辑上市就卖出100万张。 而这三个小伙子第二张专辑《Melt》的销量则又比第一张的销量数字翻了一倍，并为他们带来了2002年度乡村音乐协会大奖的新人奖。2003年Rascal Flatts获得了乡村音乐年度大奖的年度组合奖，2004也是他们再次蝉联该类别的奖项。

他们将流行音乐、乡村音乐、摇滚音乐三者结合的完美无缺。他们的镇门之宝：主唱Gary Lerox的嗓音更是无可挑剔。大多数乡村音乐歌手以浑厚、富有磁性的嗓音见常。而Gary Lerox的嗓音高亢嘹亮，清新自然，但又不失华丽、柔美。尤其是他那富有装饰性的颤音与鼻音。更是让他们的音乐锦上添花。他们乐曲配器更加丰富，除了乡村音乐常有的吉他、班卓琴和小提琴，还加入了电吉他、电子合成器、电贝斯、架子鼓、交响乐等等。
